Health and Safety

Before we start filming, it is important that we take a risk assessment of the area that we will be working in. This is to make sure that the place is safe for our actresses and crew to work in. After we got permission to use one of the private PST rooms, we looked all around to it remove any dangers to us, even something as small as a trip hazard, and figure out how to deal with the hazards we could not get rid of.

Whilst we were filming inside the room, we had someone outside the room making sure no one came in. This was not just because it would disrupt our filming, but also because someone could open the door without us realising and potentially harm one of our actresses or crew members. To ensure that we did not trip over anything in the room, we removed all of our bags from where we were filming. There were a few extra chairs inside that we didn't need in the frame so we removed them too to prevent us from tripping over them. This also gave us enough room to film our sequence safely as the room is quite small and could get cramped with too many people or props inside.
